AVALON COUNTRY CLUB

Tyler spent 16 years as a high school teacher, golf and tennis coach. In 7 seasons, he led Bearden High School (Knoxville, TN) boys & girls golf teams to 5 boys district championships, 1 Region Championship, first state tournament appearance since 1983.

A Dayton-native and graduate of Rhea County High School, he was a state qualifier in golf his senior year and was also a three-time state qualifier in tennis. He was an All Conference golfer at Carson Newman University (Jefferson City, TN). Tyler has won multiple local tournaments including 2013, 2014 Greater Knoxville Amateur and 2018, 2019 East Tennessee Amateur.
